Are You Dreaming of Small Town Living?
Do you want to walk to shops and do you want to walk to shops where you know that they are locally owned and they recognize you and they know you and greet you by name and you greet other neighbors by name. You walk into your favorite restaurant and they say are you going to have your usual. Those are some of the experiences you have in a small town that you don’t necessarily have in a city or a suburban. It’s about people orientation in a small town.
One of the choices you’ll have is:
- do I want to live in a real old home or
- do I want to live in a reproduction home or
- do I simply want to live in a small town and prefer a newer home.
You have to decide what level of maintenance commitment you want to make to your home.
So, what is small town living all about? It’s if you like the idea of walking your dog around town and seeing people instead of walking your dog around your farm or letting your dog walk themselves around your farm. It’s that being among neighbors all the time. It’s can you walk thru the grocery store with out having three or four conversations with people you know.
